…but to first a few words about myself. My name is Stefan Bauer and I living in Coburg Germany/Franconia, close by the popular river “Wiesent”.
My hobby is fly fishing for all species of fish, like trout and grayling, pike and black bass etc. In saltwater cod (fish) and pollack in Norway and my favorite, fly fishing for sea trout at the Baltic coast on Fyn/Denmark.
My second, but meanwhile loveliest hobby is tying flies. In age of thirteen I tied my first artificial fly by my fishery-club in Coburg, but really seriously since 1994. Years afterwards my dream was to come under the ten best fly tiers in a category by a fly tying competition. Okay, I have tried it and the first result was place four “category streamer” at the “Slovenian Open” in 2003 with my “Soca Matuka”. I was very proud of me!
My fly tying was better and in 2006 I was under the three best tiers in the streamer-category in Slovenia.
